Diversity is where everyone comes to the organization’s table without restriction or limitation. Equity means that everyone in our organization has the same opportunities.
Inclusion means that everyone gets to contribute and benefit from the organization’s growth development and decision-making process. However, the issue of diversity affects everyone in an organization differently, and minority group underrepresentation remains a genuine problem requiring more “inclusive business cultures, practices and policies.
Our company has laid the foundation for robust, prosperous, and sustainable Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D.E.I.) programs by formalizing D.E.I. as a comprehensive—a top-to-bottom business policy strategy, rather than just an H.R. program. D.E.I. makes good business sense. We have a clearly well-defined and widely disseminated stance on D.E.I. with specific plans, measures, and programs implemented supporting D.E.I. and a means for measuring and reporting performance.
Our company knows that diversity draws strength from the differences in our people and creates opportunities for them to grow. With a diverse voice in the workplace, we can build more robust, resilient teams, expand our networks, and broaden our knowledge and professional horizons.
We understand that our commitment to D.E.I. is part of our commitment and dedication to delivering exceptional products and services. We will benefit along with our clients and customers from D.E.I. Also, our clients and customers from different parts of the world stand to gain a broad range of knowledge, culture, traditions, perspectives, original thinking, and creative solutions.
We will continue to invest time, energy, and other resources into diversity-related initiatives, issues, and programs to improve our level of understanding, acceptance, and tolerance by maintaining the company’s set policy of equitable treatment and Inclusion if we are to improve our products and services
Promoting D.E.I. in our business and communities is just as important as promoting it in our homes as we are doing in our organization. We encourage and promote D.E.I. in all facets of our lives through a cohesive set of reminders, awareness, and initiatives that inspire and empower our people to share their perspectives, use initiatives, and influence change.
Business Resource Group (ERG)
Our company establishes an Employee Resource Group (ERG) as a part of our diversity equity and inclusion programs to attract, connect, retain, support, and foster the exchange of ideas, cultures, initiatives, acceptability, and tolerance of employees of diverse backgrounds. A significant part of the programs expresses our formal support, respect, and value of affinity groups, either man and woman, minority, and LGBTQ, as part of our human resources policies. A portion of the program’s objective creates formal and required diversity equity and inclusion training awareness and a focus group including compulsory workshops for all staff especially new employees. The D.E.I. training programs create interactive social opportunities and learning experiences that will nurture deep understanding, educate, and improve internal company relationships with workers, managers, administration, and the community at large. The training is a business resource group inspired to cultivate a progressive work environment where all our employees can thrive.
Designed to cultivate a progressive work environment where all our employees can thrive, one of the diversity equity and inclusion programs offers company policies supporting alternative work schedules. It also espouses paid parental leave, on- and off-ramping benefits around leave of absence, backup care reimbursement, and domestic partner benefits.
Our Company’s D.E.I. Diversity, Equality, and Inclusiveness Task Committee, and the Business Resources Group, monitor compliance and success of our D.E.I. programs through employees’ feedback, in-depth evaluations, including observations, surveys, and reporting mechanisms, use of focus groups company retreats, and personal interviews. These teams work closely with the Human Resources Department and the Executive Vice President of Diversity with our company Executive Teams and Committees to further our overall diversity, Equity, and Inclusion priorities and goals.
Our team is passionate about giving back to the communities where we live and work. Through volunteering services, we can leverage the expertise and use best practices of other outside organizations focusing on expanding diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to effect long-lasting change in our local, regional, national, and global business communities.
